At Sombretec, we specialise in custom surfboards, designed for riders seeking lightweight, high-performance boards crafted from carbon fibre, innovative epoxy vacuum-bagging techniques, traditional lay-up or full hydrophobic wood technology.

Our Story

We have been making boards for well over 30 years now and we still love what we do! We were among the first to shape kitesurf boards in the UK and proud to be founding members of the British Kitesurf Association.

Our technical expertise has been recognised/used by some of the best shapers/riders in the business. We are passionate about creating unique, high-quality boards that enhance the surfing experience for forward-thinking riders who value both performance and high quality craftsmanship.
